WHO cancels aid mission to G-a-z-a on security concerns

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus  announced on Wednesday during a virtual address from Geneva that the organization has decided to cancel its sixth scheduled medical aid mission to Gaza due to security concerns.

“Intense bombardment, restrictions on movement, fuel shortage and interrupted communications make it impossible for WHO and our partners to reach those in need,” Tedros noted. “We call on Israel to approve requests by WHO and other partners to deliver humanitarian aid,” he added.
