World playoffs: CAF received two Ghanaian and Egyptian complaints

According to the backstage of CAF, two complaints were obtained, by the General Secretaries of CAF and FIFA, from the Football Federations of Ghana and Egypt respectively against their counterparts in Nigeria and Senegal after the second leg of the African world play-offs. While the Ghanaians’ petition opposed the Nigerian fans’ attack on the Black Stars after the game during the latter’s festival of their qualification, the Egyptian petition brought against Senegal for violence and racist chants in the stands of the Abdoulaye Wade stadium in Dakar.

On the other hand, and according to the information posted by “La Gazette du Fennec”, the Algerian Federation would have decided to formulate an official appeal to replay the meeting, tainted according to them by numerous arbitration errors. Two goals were notably refused to the proteges of Djamel Belmadi. It should also be mentioned that Morocco had lodged a complaint against DR Congo, in the first leg, for the mistreatment of its delegation in Kinshasa. In this regard, FIFA has work to do after these African play-offs. We then await the next few days for the final decisions.
