Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his latest address called on the global community to make sanctions against the Russian nuclear industry part of future punitive packages over Moscow’s actions in Ukraine.
“There was a time when other restrictions against Russia seemed difficult to implement as well … Now they are already in place,” Zelensky stated, arguing that every element of the Russian system involved in “financing aggression must be isolated from the global system.”
“We must realize that this is not yet a decisive victory on the energy front. Unfortunately, there may be new terrorist attacks from Russia,” Zelensky warned.
