Defense Minister Ibrahim Bartagi called on members of the Finance, Planning and Development Committee to approve the draft law on a loan for acquiring military trucks.
During a hearing at the parliament, He said that if the Finance Committee does not pass the loan before the deadline, the supplier will ask for extra costs of more than 6 million euros related to insurance.
Remarking on the high rate of insurance, Bartagi emphasised that it should be taken into account that the loan will be repaid over 10 years with an interest rate of 0.72%.
