President Kais Saied received Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) and Ennahdha party leader Rached Ghannouchi at Carthage presidential palace.
The official meeting focused on the national tragedy that struck the country yesterday and prescribed measures necessary to cautiously avoid these tragic incidents, declared Ghannouchi.
He further communicated the president anticipation to advance the government formation and properly present it to the elected parliament. The meeting also tackled the prevailing developmental situation and specific legislation that stands as an obstacle in front of economic and social progress.
On the political level, the discussion addressed 2011 electoral laws as well as the regional situation.
