Tunisia-General strike at SONEDE

A general strike will be observed on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company (SONEDE).

This strike was decided because of the non-application of the clauses of the accord set between the UGTT and the presidency of the government, on September 14, 2022, relating to the increase in wages.

The UGTT considered that what is occurring is a deviation from the rights of SONEDE agents and employees.
