Biden: No evidence aerial objects part of China’s spying program

United States President Joe Biden said on Thursday that nothing suggests the recently downed aerial objects in the US airspace are part of China’s spying program. Biden told reporters that the US military closely scrutinized the country’s airspace following the first incident, and determined that the objects were likely tied to private companies or research institutions.

There hasn’t been a sudden increase in aerial objects in the US skies, Biden asserted, noting that he will give the order to strike down any object that could represent a threat to the American people. However, he added that the government still doesn’t know exactly what the three downed objects were, explaining that the military acted out of an abundance of caution.

Biden stated he won’t make an apology to China over the latest tensions, concluding that he expects to speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping soon.
