The Free Destourian Party (PDL) announced the sacking of its deputy Lamia Jaidane and the freezing of its membership.
The party said in an issued statement that Jaidane was transferred to the disciplinary committee, for having attended a meeting in Ksar Helal which grouped figures that the PDL considers as having deceived the party and the politics of Bourguiba by having sworn allegiance to the Muslim brothers, as well as personas who voted for the government of Fakhfakh who has Muslim brothers wanted by Interpol.
