The Indictment Chamber in charge of financial corruption cases at the Court of Appeal ordered the referral of the treasurer of the “Namaa Tounes” association and former leader of Ennahdha, Abdelkrim Slimane, to the Criminal Chamber of the Court of First Instance of Tunis. The arrest warrant issued against him is maintained, Mosaïque FM reported yesterday Friday, April 19.
As a reminder, the first investigating judge of the Judicial and Financial Pole had signed arrest warrants against Abdelkrim Slimane and other members of the “Namaa Tounes” association for crimes linked to money laundering and banking violations. Since then their assets have been frozen.
