Sources close to Ennahdha confirmed to Tunisie Numerique that following the motion of no confidence against Rached Ghanouchi the latter had to resign from the presidency of the assembly and pass the torch to another president, to resume his place in the hemicycle among the deputies of his party.
Ghannouchi would announce this decision when the parliamentary recess returns next September.
