Speaking at the transfer of power ceremony, former prime minister Elyes Fakhfakh said that “We are living in a civilized moment of feelings intertwined between satisfaction, anxiety, hope and pain … pain as things have come to in our dear homeland.”
He stressed that the country is faltering and threatened by factionalism, and there is a tendency towards achieving narrow interests…. the nation is lost in the hands of the opportunists … it is time for action, and silence is unacceptable. ”
“Tunisia today is in dire need of responsibility roles at all levels” he added.
He also stressed that many fallacies that touched him, and “ he will answer them once he takes off the state’s robe. ”
