Tunisia-Signature of an agreement between the Tunisian Post and MoneyGram

The Tunisian Post declared on Thursday the signing of a new bilateral partnership agreement with MoneyGram International concentrating in the field of money transfer and financial payments on a global scale.

This cooperation agreement strives to aid and bring together financial services for the benefit of customers and citizens through MoneyGram’s global platform, for sending and receiving money from abroad through a network of more than 1,050 Post Offices located in different regions of the country, it said.

“The convention will be a chance for the two institutions to further consolidate the principles of financial and social inclusion by presenting financial services for the benefit of clients and citizens at preferential prices in accordance with international transfer standards. money, while ensuring the speed and quality of service “.
The CEO of the Tunisian Post, Sami Mekki, said that “the cooperation agreement with MoneyGram International aims to diversify and bring together financial services for the benefit of citizens in Tunisia and abroad, while additionally connecting Tunisian Residents Abroad in their country of origin. This partnership will also make it possible to strengthen the bases of social, financial and economic inclusion, by facilitating access to financial services in line with the new strategy of the Tunisian Post which is based on social and financial inclusion through the development of new digital financial services and action plans compatible with the needs of different social categories “.
For his part, the head of the Africa Region of MoneyGram, John Gely, affirmed that “Tunisia is a key corridor for many MoneyGram markets, such as Italy, France or even Germany, and this partnership will put inevitably, the strengths of the MoneyGram platform are evident. Consumers in these countries will in fact quickly adopt our Mobile application to send money to their families and friends in Tunisia. They will also be able to collect money from them. any Tunisian Post office immediately, in a few minutes.
