During the press conference held this Wednesday, October 7 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health, the Director of the Pasteur Institute in Tunis, Hechmi Louzir, announced that a person whose PCR test turns out to be positive he can still return back to the workplace 3 days after the symptoms have entirely disappeared if his doctor allows it.
He, in the same vein, explained that 3 days after the disappearance of the symptoms, in particular the fever, even if the PCR test is positive, the patient is no longer contagious.
However, the minister explained that wearing a mask remains compulsory in this case.
