Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah took the constitutional oath on Thursday before the National Assembly as the crown prince of Kuwait.

Kuwait’s parliament collectively voted earlier on Thursday to support him after the new emir named him on Wednesday, the parliament announced on Twitter.
