Data from India’s Health and Family Welfare Ministry showed 78,524 people tested positive for the coronavirus disease in the country on Wednesday, taking the total figure to 6,835,655.
During the same time period, India’s COVID-19 death toll increased to 105,526 after the health officials confirmed 971 additional virus-related fatalities.
