The Minister of Health announced on Tuesday, January 5 that 76 new deaths have been recorded as of January 4, 2020, bringing the death tally to 4,938.
Underscoring the gravity of the health situation, the minister said that public health establishments now have 289 ICU and 1943 beds equipped with oxygen.
He also pointed out that no infection with the new strain of the coronavirus has been recorded.
