Echaâb movement MP Haykel Mekki, emphasised on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, that the President of the Republic Kais Saied cited in the correspondence addressed to prime minister Hichem Mechichi the identical factors addressed during his meeting with the Party’s MP at the Carthage Palace.
“You shouldn’t concentrate only on the form of letter because the content is always more essential than the form. If the president comes from the planet of integrity and the battle against corruption and terrorism, we would like to join him, ”he affirmed. The MP further explained that the Constitutional Court was the sole one to evaluate the interpretation of the Constitution given by the President of the Republic.
“Tunisia has passed from a one-party regime to the corrupt lobby regime that rules in the country and the president is pursuing a war against those who want to take over the country and its institutions,” he told Mosaique FM.
“Prime minister Hichem Mechichi threw himself into the arms of some parties rather of being the premier of Kais Saied. He became the executor of Rached Ghannouchi who is a great manipulator ”.
