The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received this Tuesday, February 16, 2021, President of Tunisian Order of Lawyers Brahim Bouderbala and the Secretary-General of the Council of the Bar Association Hatem Meziou at Carthage presidential palace.
Following the meeting, Mr Bouderbala stated that the Head of State reemphasised his respect for the legal profession as well as for all the noble values it embodies. The two lawyers conversed about the problems that lawyers encounter, including the laws ruling the profession and the higher institute of the legal profession.
The meeting was likewise a chance to review the current political crisis, he added, adding that the Bar Association supports the President of the Republic in the battle against corruption.
