The Director-General of the Institut Pasteur Hechmi Louzi announced he was not notified of the acquisition of Chinese vaccines in the form of a donation.
Speaking on the airwaves of private radio, he said “I heard about these vaccines on television,”. Consequently, he called for coordination between the various services, stating in the same context, the possibility of acquiring doses of the Sputnik V vaccine from Russia, without nevertheless specifying the date of reception.
In addition, the official communicated his concern about the spread of variants of the Coronavirus.
