The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, welcomed the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmad Naceur Mohamad Al Sabah, this Friday, October 22, 2021, at Carthage presidential palace.
During this meeting, the head of the state addressed the bilateral relationships of the two nations , emphasising the importance of the cooperation of Tunisia and Kuwait in various sectors and expressing his wish to strengthen them in the coming periods.
The Head of State further returned to the reasons which led him to use the exceptional measures of July 25. For his part, the Kuwaiti minister expressed his country’s support for the decisions of the Tunisian president. He additionally affirmed that his country is constantly ready to support Tunisia and to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
He, in context, congratulated the Head of State for the formation of the new government. On this occasion, Mr Saied addressed an invitation to Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait.
In this context, he vowed to go to Kuwait as soon as possible, in response to the invitation he received from the Crown Prince.
