The Interior Ministry declared this Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in a press release interior minister Taoufik Charfeddine has decided on an exceptional promotion to police inspector Akram Hamrouni.
The latter has been promoted to the rank of a senior police inspector.
As a reminder, the police officer succeeded last Saturday in capturing a very dangerous offender. He additionally managed to seize a homemade weapon hidden in his belongings. The officer was wounded and one of his fingers was severed during the operation, the same source adds.
