In an interview granted on Monday, March 7, 2022 to RFI radio,former President of the Republic, Moncef Marzouki, disclosed that he called on the Tunisian army to restore the institutions because the Kais Saied has become an “illegitimate” president.
n his words. “I appealed to the army to take up the cause of the Constitution. Kaïs Saïed became an illegitimate president and I called on the army not to obey his orders, not to take power, but rather simply to restore the institutions. This is what the army should do,” he said.
