President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, declared during a speech on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, on the evening of this Sunday, May 1, 2022, that a commission will be responsible for overseeing the national dialogue. , in which the four national organizations will partake, with the exception of “those who have vandalised, starved, and mistreated the people”. Saïed likewise indicated that the dialogue will be open to those who participated in the restoration of the July 25 process, without identifying these parties.
On the other hand, the Head of State revealed that, in accordance with the decree relating to exceptional measures N ° 117 of September 22, 2021, “a commission will be created to prepare the establishment of a new Republic which will complete its work, in a few days, because the stakes and the choices are clear”. He also specified that the commission will be comprised of two bodies, including one for dialogue.
