Union sportive monastirienne relaunched in the race for the title after a win (3-2) against Espérance sportive de Tunis, on behalf of the 7th day of the play-off phase. At Ben Jannet stadium, the locals left no opportunity and overthrew the visitors, after goals from Hamdou Houni (4′) and Mohamed Ali Ben Hammouda (46′). It was Haykel Chikhaoui (36′) who equalized for the locals (1-1) then Zied Aloui (75′) equalizing 2-2, before Abdelhakim Amokrane (83′) signed the win for the band to Faouzi Benzarti (3-2).
