Samira Chaouachi, former vice-president of the dissolved parliament confirmed that the referendum of the President of the Republic Kais Saied was based on a “fictional” consultation and an “undemocratic” conception.
“The Tunisian people are aware of this type of illegal and constitutionally contradictory practice…Tunisians will express their will through the vote…No to the summoning of civilians by the military court…No to the repression of freedom of expression… No to the detention of journalists and lawyers.” she said.
