The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed welcomed Monday, June 27, 2022, the Minister of Agriculture, Hydraulic Resources and Fisheries, Mahmoud Elyes Hamza, ordering him to immediately revive the water associations.
To this end, the Head of State pointed out to examine the possibility of rescheduling the debts of citizens who do have not paid their bills to SONEDE.
He emphasised that the interruption of water in several regions and its unavailability in others is no longer acceptable, declaring in the same sense a water emergency.
