He stated that about 44,000 SMEs are impacted by this procedure which is now turning into obligatory liquidation so that banks can recover the sums lent to companies in difficulty. He expressed that money is the sole thing banks care about, it’s their obsession. For this, they are raising the number of legal proceedings against entrepreneurs involved in check cases, even when Justice stops the proceedings.
Abderrazak Houas insisted on the necessity to take a serious look at the criminalization of economic life and to guarantee that banks do their job: Finance the economy, SMEs instead of locking themselves into lucrative activities which have no nothing to do with the higher interests of the nation.
