After Namibia and Ivory Coast, it is Algeria’s turn to part ways with their coach Djamel Belmadi eliminated after the loss against Mauritania (0-1).
It was the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Walid Sadi, who declared the news of the departure of the Fennecs coach: “I met the national coach, Mr. Djamel Belmadi, to examine the consequences of this bitter elimination, and we reached an amicable agreement to end our partnership and break the contract that binds the coach to the Algerian Football Federation. We thank Djamel Belmadi for everything he has done for the team and we wish him good luck for the rest of his career,” wrote the first leader of Algerian football in his press release.
