Aguila Salah announces candidacy for the presidential elections in Libya

Libyan parliament speaker Aguila Salah declared on November 17, 2021 his nomination for the presidential elections in Libya, programmed for December 24, 2021, Libyan media reported.
It should be remarked that the former head of the Libyan government, Ali Zaiden, further submitted his candidacy for the elections scheduled for December 24. The same is true for Marshal Khalifa Haftar and the son of the former Libyan leader, Saif Al Islem Gadhafi.
