The Algerian Ministry of Defense revealed the discovery by its counter-terrorism units of a terrorist camp in Tebessa, extremely close to the Tunisian borders. The Algerian army was able, on this occasion, to identify and arrest three people guilty of providing logistical assistance to the terrorists entrenched in the maquis.
