America-White House Set On Brief Lockdown After Unauthorized Aircraft Reported In Washington Airspace

The White House was on temporary lockdown for 20 minutes after an unapproved aircraft were spotted in the proximity.
All Capitol buildings were also on lockdown and staffers coming were not permitted inside.

A statement from the US Secret Service, read: “The White House was locked down this morning due to a potential violation of the restricted airspace in the National Capital Region.

According to the independent, The US Northern Command stated senior officials from multiple agencies were monitoring the situation.
The statement also said North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) Command aircraft were “on the scene and responding” though the plane in question was “not considered hostile”.
