AstraZeneca PLC issued a statement on Monday revealing “encouraging” results of its COVID-19 vaccine trials, which showed that the responses to the shot were similar in both younger and older results.
The research results, which provided further evidence of the vaccine’s safety, noted that reactogenecity was lower in the elderly population. Earlier in the day, this report was the first to show that the shot developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca is effective to some point.
The final results of the comprehensive last phase of the trials are yet to be revealed
