In an interview with CNN, the United States President-elect Joe Biden said that once inaugurated, he will request the public to wear face coverings for 100 days in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Biden stressed the necessity for implementing new measures to curb the impact of the virus and alleged that 100 days of wearing masks will drive down the periodic numbers considerably.
Biden went on to say there is no requirement to close down the economy as a new set of measures is anticipated to lead to a “significant reduction” in daily infections.
