United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met on Wednesday in the West Bank city of Ramallah to discuss the latter territory’s long-term conflict with Israel.
Their meeting came a day after Blinken met with several Israeli officials, including President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He urged paving a “clear pathway to a Palestinian state” and then investing in the rebuilding of Gaza.
