The UK recorded 62,322 new cases of coronavirus , setting the fourth all-time high in daily cases in the last 5 days, British health authorities unveiled on Wednesday.
During the same time, there were 1,041 new deaths which is the highest spike in daily COVID fatalities since the middle of April.
After the latest updates, UK’s case count soared to 2,836,801, while its death toll reached 77,346.
