The Ministry of Finance announced on Monday, November 20, the commencement of a call for applications to select directors who will represent the State and public participants on the boards of directors of public banks.
These appointed directors will fill upcoming vacancies in the roles of directors representing both the State and public participants on the boards of directors of public banks.
It is important to note that the selected candidate will be expected to leverage their skills and expertise in service to the board of directors of the public bank to which they are appointed. The successful candidate is anticipated to execute their responsibilities with diligence and in adherence to the principles of good governance. Moreover, they may be assigned to serve as a member on one or more specialized regulatory committees emanating from the board of directors.
The deadline for the submission of application files is set for December 20, 2023.
