M/V GLORY, the cargo ship that had run aground in the Suez Canal earlier in the day, has been refloated by the Suez Canal Authority tugs, shipping agency Leth Agencies stated on Monday.
“21 vessels going southbound will commence/resume their transits. Only minor delays expected,” Leth Agencies said in a tweet and added that the ordinary convoy is expected to resume at 10:00 am CET.
Earlier, the Suez Canal Authority noted that the grounding did not affect the traffic through the waterway.
