D3 – CAF CL: winner of Al Hilal, Etoile thanks Jacques Mbé (videos)

After two losses in as many days, Etoile du Sahel was pushed this Friday evening, in front of its audience (video), to win the 3 points of win against the Sudanese of Hilal Omdurman. The Sahelians managed to win (1-0) to get back into the race for qualification for the quarter-finals of the CAF CL (video)

The mission for the star players became more challenging against a formidable Sudanese team in the past day. Despite having overcome Espérance of Tunis, the task was far from simple. The credit for the ESS’s first success goes to the Cameroonian player, Jacques Mbé, who scored in the 88th minute (watch the video). This victory permitted ESS to temporarily join Al Hilal and EST with 3 points each, following Petro at the top of group C with 6 points.

The next meeting of Imed Ben Younes’ group will be the round of the 4th day where he will be opposed away to Tanzania against the same opponent of the day, on Tuesday December 19 at 8:00 p.m. (HT) while the Angolans of Petro Atletico will be the hosts of Esperance of Tunis, the same day but from 5:00 p.m. (HT).
