Eight Israeli settlers have been killed on Friday evening in a shooting attack, north of the occupied city of Jerusalem, Israeli media confirmed.
It said that eight settlers have been killed, while others were injured after a gunman opened fire in the illegal Israeli settlement of Nabi Yacov, built on lands belonging to the Palestinian Jerusalem-area village of Beit Hanina.
Israeli police shot a Palestinian youth after claiming he carried out the shooting attack before closing off the settlement and the street leading to Beit Hanina.
