Tunisia-Lawyers boycott military justice

The Council of the Tunis Association of Lawyers decided to suspend the requests for the requisition of attorneys by military justice for a period of a week at first.

This action will be followed by a total boycott of the public prosecutor and pleas before military justice in the courts of the Grand Tunis.

The council confirmed in a press release its total refusal of the pursuit of civilians by military justice. It considered the decision to ban lawyers from exercising an attack on the prerogatives of the Council of the National Order of Lawyers.

An appeal was launched to refuse the verdicts issued by military justice which prohibit lawyers from exercising their profession
