The European Council has approved the Europan Union candidate status for Ukraine and Moldova, council President Charles Michel disclosed on Thursday.
Addressing the people and the governments of the two countries, Michel wrote on Twitter that “today marks a crucial step on your path towards the EU” and that “our future is together.”
