European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell announced on Monday the launch of the EU’s mission to train Ukrainian soldiers. He said the training will take place in Poland and include around 15,000 Ukrainian forces.
Borrell stated that “a lot of” EU member states expressed willingness to participate. Ahead of the bloc’s Foreign Affairs Council, he added that the EU must continue supporting Ukraine and that the Council will discuss further military aid for Kiev.
