Expo 2023 Doha is fixed to open its doors next October with an ambitious mission: to promote a green and sustainable future in the core of the desert. The city of Doha, Qatar will host this International Horticultural Expo which vows to be a global platform to exchange creative ideas and solutions in sustainability and horticulture.
Under the theme “Green Desert, Better Environment”, this exhibition seeks to explore how horticulture can play a vital role in mitigating desertification and building greener and more sustainable communities. As climate change endangers the entire world, the necessity for sustainable solutions becomes critical, and Expo 2023 Doha is set to be a source of inspiration and action.
Participants from more than 80 countries will bring their innovations, experiences and expertise in agriculture, horticulture, water management and energy solutions. The event will bring together voices from global specialists through conferences in partnership with the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH). Discussions will concentrate on pressing topics such as building green cities and finding sustainable solutions to meet current urban needs.
