France, Poland, Germany ‘to avoid a war in Europe’ – Scholz

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Tuesday that France, Poland, and Germany are united by the same goal, “to avoid a war in Europe.”

During a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron and Polish President Andrzej Duda, Scholz emphasized the vital role of the three leaders in Europe, the OSCE and the G7. In addition, he also mentioned Macron’s recent visit to Russia and his upcoming visit to Kyiv and Moscow. “That is why our exchanges at this time will be especially fruitful, as we are all united by the same goal, to maintain peace in Europe through diplomacy and through clear messages and a common will to act in unity,” he added.

The Polish and French presidents confirmed the path of dialogue and de-escalation to avoid war.
