The toll of violence in Gaza is tragically aggravating as 300 Palestinians, including many children and women, were killed in a single day on Saturday. In addition, 800 other people were extremely injured, according to information provided by the Gaza’s Ministry of Health.
The situation in Gaza remains extremely dangerous, with an increase in the number of civilian casualties. The continued air attacks have plunged the Palestinian population into a climate of terror and uncertainty, therefore exacerbating the humanitarian crisis that has been raging for days.
This outbreak of violence in Gaza has sparked anger from the international community, which insists on the necessity to protect civilians. The absolute priority must be the protection of human lives and the alleviation of the suffering of the Palestinian population.
