The Director General of Gaza Hospitals confirmed in a statement to Al Jazeera that the Red Cross representative had been notified that the occupying army had raided the Al Chifa medical complex, after having besieged it for several days, and that its forces had searched the basement of the hospital, adding that the occupying forces had likewise opened fire on anyone who desired to leave a passage indicated by the soldiers as safe, to exit of the complex in complete safety.
