The United Nations’ (UN) International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Russia on Wednesday to immediately suspend its military intervention in Ukraine.
“Ukraine has a plausible right not to be subjected to military operation by the Russian Federation for the purpose of preventing and punishing an alleged genocide in the territory of Ukraine,” the Hague-based court said following a 13–2 vote.
