Iran slams US, UK’s actions against Houthis

The Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Nasser Kanaani criticized on Friday the United States and the United Kingdom’s joint campaign against the Houthi movement that saw them striking targets in Yemen’s territory.

Kanaani told the press that the US and the UK’s actions will contribute to the “insecurity and instability” in the Middle East. He also slammed the move as a way of averting global attention from what he described as Israel’s, or the “Zionist regime,” and its crimes against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
