British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancee Carrie Symonds got married in a private setting on Saturday, marking the first time since 1822 that the United Kingdom’s head of the government got wedded while holding office.
Johnson, 56, and Symonds, 33 had a Catholic ceremony at the Westminster Cathedral. The couple got engaged in late 2019 on the Caribbean island of Mustique.
