Ketanji Brown Jackson sworn in as SCOTUS justice

Ketanji Brown Jackson was sworn in as a justice of the United States Supreme Court on Thursday.

After Chief Justice John Roberts administered the Constitutional oath, Brown Jackson thus became the first black woman to serve on the US Supreme Court.

Brown Jackson was selected for the role by US President Joe Biden in February after Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement, which came into effect today at noon.
